Luca Sartorelli

Founder, Head Brewer, Operation Manager

An engineer and beer lover by vocation. He discovered craft beer in 2008 during a study trip to Denver, Colorado. Back in Italy, he founded the BrewLab beer association, organizing festivals, tastings, and meetups among homebrewers. A rather creature-of-habit drinker, the pub bar is his favorite place. After the barrel room, of course.

Andrea Marzocchi

Founder, Social, Marketing & Culture

Taster and instructor for Unionbirrai. Member of BrewLab and Birrai Eretici. Passionate about food and wine, an active promoter of beer culture, an unrepentant drinker, and a serial beer traveler. He works for the Bologna trade fair group organizing events. Rumor has it he holds a degree in economics, but more reliable sources claim he spent that time trying — with very little success — to make it as a rockstar. He's still waiting to become a great writer (he'd settle for just "writer," no "great" required). The Brado project is the natural extension of his passion for beer (particularly the wild/sour world) and satisfies his urge to become an artisan (an early midlife crisis).
"Brado is love, not just a barrel and gone"

Mario quark Di Bacco

Founder, Software & Tech Manager

Curious by nature, an engineer by training, a maker. Founding member of BrewLab and Birrai Eretici. Pets: brettanomyces. The instinct to build — a beer or a piece of software — the magic of learning — a yeast strain or a new technique — are what drove him to turn brewing production into a real project, not just an idea.
"Brado is beer with science built in"

Matteo D’Ulisse

Founder, Supply Chain & Accounts

An Management Engineering and mountain enthusiast, a consultant by profession. You can recognize him because he doesn't stop wearing a tie even in the barrel room.
He got into the world of homebrewers and sour beers thanks to that handful of BrewLab enthusiasts. He plays around with five-year plans, margins, and various KPIs.

Riccardo Amato

Riccardo is the ace of cellar operations. Skilled at tastings, a great connoisseur of beers from around the world, with strong expertise in hops, he keeps the groove going during brewhouse and cellar work, usually to the rhythm of jazz.

Giandomenico Enna

Taproom

Giando is the "brado" you'll most often find wandering around our taproom.
He has long experience in food service and hospitality and is a longtime connoisseur of good food and drink.
He can tell you everything you need to know about our beers, before, after, or while preparing everything our bar has to offer.
